A catch-all e-mailbox is one that captures all the messages sent to inactive addresses. For instance, if your email address is info@domain.com, but someone mistypes it and sends an email to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have set up. Only one single mailbox per domain name can have this feature activated and thus you’ll never miss emails because the other side has an outdated email address or has made a mistake. The drawback of having a catch-all mailbox is that you may begin receiving a lot of junk emails, but this issue can be fixed by using anti-spam filtering software. It is also important to bear in mind that a mailbox with an active catch-all functionality cannot redirect inbound emails to a third-party email address.
Catch-all Emails in Hosting

All the email addresses that you’ve set up will be enumerated in this section in alphabetical order and you’ll only need to click the "Catch-all" button for the particular email address. Our system will warn you if there is already another catch-all mailbox activated for that domain name or if the one that you want to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding activated, so you can either deactivate the latter feature or select another mailbox. Disabling the catch-all option is just as easy and requires one more click on the very same button.
Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting
You’ll be able to set up a catch-all address with no more than one click if you’ve got a Linux semi-dedicated hosting package with us and your email messages are handled by our cloud platform. All the addresses that you set up with any domain name hosted in the semi-dedicated hosting account will be listed in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Each of them will have a small "Catch-all" icon on its right-hand side, so all it will take to enable this feature will be to click that icon. In the same way you will be able to turn off the feature, in case you do not need it anymore. Our system will notify you if you’re attempting to activate a 2nd catch-all mailbox for a certain domain name or in case there is enabled email forwarding, but it’ll never modify or disable any feature automatically or without your permission.
